![]() The lower pools is too muddy you wouldn't dare swim in it. The man made pool didn't make a difference either. ![]() The pools tend to become very crowded especially the one near the falls. Its a wonderful place and I can see so much potential in it, if only it has good management. 1/4 kilo of sugar is 20 pesos and a kilo of NFA rice is 70 pesos. Lo and behold, they have locals selling it at a very steep price. If ever you forget to bring rice or sugar. I also don't like the muddy hallways and the stairs down the waterfalls was full of molds, its slippery. There are no hampers for wet clothes either. The shower valves were defective, one keeps falling off and the other doesn't have any valve at all. ![]() The cottage (Sapphire) we rented was very expensive for Php 7000 (on a daytour), especially it has no airconditioning and we only have 2 fans in the bedroom with 5 bunk beds. The entrance is very affordable, perhaps because there's not much maintenance provided. Maybe they could consider having a hot herbal pool too. I love the mini falls and the super cold water, it's not advisable for kids though, my daughter only dipped twice because it is too cold for her. :)īeing a traveller, this is a destination very close to nature. People of all ages will definitely enjoy this place. You will really experience bathing in a spring as cold as water with ice cubes in it. You just plunge your hot body and swim to your heart’s content and feel refreshed and rejuvenated. But if you’re really looking for a place where you can swim and relieve the hotness you are experiencing during the summer season, I think this is one of the best places to be. ![]() Orientation and ambiance wise I think it is just ordinary and not as spectacular as the other spring resorts and that’s rational since it is a public resort. If you want to grill meats or seafood there are available grillers but of course expect queue as well. For the food and beverages, it is most convenient to bring your own home-cooked food. Don’t worry for you can find different nice spots since there are shaded areas as well as lots of trees to protect you from the sun. The resort gets really overcrowded during peak seasons so you have no choice but just to rent tables (500php/pax) and look for locations where you can place it. If you are planning to go there in a large group especially during the peak season which is summer time, I highly recommend you to reserve at least a room since huts are not open for reservation (First come, first serve basis). Before reaching the entrance gate, a personnel will ask and check your attendance and simultaneously get payment for the entrance fee (100php/pax as of to date). Make a left turn and follow through until you reach the destination. Tomas exit) and follow through until you reach the signboard going to Bato Springs. From Manila, you just have to go to San Pablo Laguna via SLEX (take Sto. I think the shortest route is the one going to Lucena, Quezon Province. You can easily locate the area thru apps such as Waze. Overall my experience was good and will definitely recommend this place to people who wants to experience nature and cold splash.Last May 13, 2017, my family went to Bato Springs Resort at San Pablo Laguna (somewhat boundary of Quezon and Laguna Province). As for price rate, entrance is affordable however the room rate are quite expensive for a typical room that doesn't have tv nor offer any toiletries. I would recommend you bring your own toiletries when staying for overnight since they don't provide any. This place is definitely a great way to esacpe the busy city life. They have 3 pools, 1 swimming pool and 2 are spring like pools. I must say it's very relaxing since most of the resorts here in Laguna are hot springs but this one is cold water, so better be ready for a icy splash. The place was nicely maintained and a balance between nature and man-made landscape. We were lucky since it was Sunday evening when we arrived and most of the people had already went home.
